CHANGAN PHEV model: A century of CHANGAN, a new generation of technology

CHANGAN Automobile has 14 manufacturing bases and 34 factories around the world. Taking the Nanjing Smart Factory in China as an example, it integrates various production technologies such as flexibilization, intelligence, automation and greening, and is the first 0-emission production factory of CHANGAN autos. The stamping process department in the factory adopts intelligent flexible inspection system, which can realize the design accuracy of the vehicle within the error of plus or minus 0.5mm; the welding process department realizes 215 robots to work at the same time, and the overall automation rate reaches 98%; the painting process department adopts environmentally friendly water-based paints, which not only responds to the call of the global green environment protection, but also realizes the quality upgrade of the vehicle; in the final assembly process, the factory is equipped with intelligent production lines to realize automatic assembly of major components such as chassis, tires and glass. Intelligent energy management: Based on the current big language model, CHANGAN automobile utilizes AI intelligent algorithms to dynamically adjust the vehicle’s energy distribution according to the vehicle’s driving road conditions, user’s driving habits, the vehicle’s battery status, and navigation data to set up five intelligent driving modes for the user to choose from. At the same time, he also supports the vehicle’s 3.3KW external discharge function, users are able to realize the needs of camping power supply or outdoor work, the battery’s SOC20% or more, can be discharged continuously for 5 hours. In addition, he also has a full temperature range adaptability, in the -35 ℃ very cold environment, the battery warming speed can reach 4 ℃ / minute; in the 55 ℃ high temperature, can still ensure that the vehicle fast charging ability.
  3. Vehicle Safety Protection: Vehicle safety in this context includes battery safety, electronic control safety and vehicle safety; the CHANGAN PHEV model adopts Admiralty Battery Technology, which has passed more than 60 severe tests such as pinprick, extrusion, fire and seawater immersion, etc., and the design of the aviation-grade aluminum alloy frame outsourcing makes the battery able to resist the impact of more than 10 tons of weight. When the vehicle encounters a collision, it is able to cut off the high-voltage electricity within 20ms, and the battery management system with dual BMS removes a number of redundant designs, reducing the vehicle’s failure rate by 90%. Each vehicle has more than 75% high-strength steel, which has earned it the C-NCAP/E-NCAP double five-star safety certification.
