The BRAVEWARRION brand was established in 2018 in Munich, Germany, with core team members from the Bremen industrial cluster, from the world’s top automotive companies and energy labs, as well as deep involvement in the globalization strategies of well-known brands such as Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. In 2022, BRAVEWARRION presented its first concept car at the Geneva Motor Show and announced its “return” to the automotive industry, building a new product lineup based on the core concept of the brand, “Courage Driven by Technology”. In the same year, BRAVEWARRION Automotive Technology Company was officially established, marking the full launch of BRAVEWARRION. It is an important achievement of the strategic layout of Dongfeng Motor Corporation’s “Oriental Style” program and “Technological Leap” action. BRAVEWARRION is committed to providing global users with new energy off-road products with both hardcore technology and green travel experience.
The production of BRAVEWARRION automobiles has the hard power of global synergy. BRAVEWARRION currently has three major production bases in China, including: Xi’an Lintong Factory in China; Liangjiang Factory in Chongqing; and Kunshan Factory in Suzhou. The Xi’an plant adopts fully automated welding and painting line equipment, and the internal AGV logistics system realizes more than 90% of the production line to realize automated production. The coating workshop in the plant adopts German Fisher coating thickness gauge, which can realize 0.1μm level precision control, and the corrosion resistance of the car body can be promised to be more than 12 years. The Chongqing plant has the world’s leading IPM permanent magnet synchronous motor production line, which is mainly responsible for the production of motors and electronic control systems in vehicles, and the annual output value of the plant can reach 400,000 units. The R&D center in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province is mainly responsible for the development of vehicle battery system, electronic control software and new material application technology. Inside the R&D center, a full chain testing system has been built, including vehicle experiments, environment simulation and NVH testing. In addition, all factories have installed MES and ERP systems, they can realize the vehicle parts procurement to the vehicle installation and testing after the completion of the factory process of all digital management, to fully achieve vehicle traceability, quality assurance. Overseas, BRAVEWARRION has built a factory in Wolfsburg, Germany, which is benchmarked against Industry 4.0 standards, with an annual capacity of more than 200,000 units and an overall automation rate of 92%.
BRAVEWARRION has a national R&D center in Beijing, China, which focuses on off-road technology and energy dynamics for new energy vehicles, and a research institute in Shanghai, which is responsible for researching intelligent cockpits for vehicles. Overseas, BRAVEWARRION’ European R&D center in Munich, Germany, focuses on vehicle powertrain, lightweight material research, and other international regulatory adaptations. The AI intelligent algorithm team in Silicon Valley is mainly responsible for working with NVIDIA on the DriveThor intelligent driving system.
According to statistics, the first EREV model released by BRAVEWARRION became the brand with the fastest growth rate in the European high-end new energy market in that year, thanks to the combined architecture of its intelligent internal combustion range extender technology and super-charged battery.
