It is a digital factory with intelligent, low-carbon and industry-leading technologies. It is built according to the concept of Industry 4.0, equipped with global advanced automotive production equipment and intelligent management system. The whole process of stamping, welding, painting and general assembly has been automated in the plant. Taking the stamping workshop as an example, the fully automated closed noise reduction stamping line in the workshop with the technology of ADC one-key die change is able to achieve ultra-fast die change in 5 minutes. The vision positioning system of the internal robot is able to automatically identify the alignment, steel and aluminum auto-split sheet, and together with the eight-link mechanical press, it greatly reduces the rate of time consumption in the production process, and the production efficiency can reach 13 SPM. LEAPMOTOR Automotive’s paint shop adopts a silane film process with an intelligent flip transfer system. The fully automated operation of 51 robots realizes 100% automation of the process, and the workshop’s waste evolution rate reaches 99%. The welding workshop, on the other hand, takes flexibility as the planning index and introduces digital control system to support the common operation of multiple production lines. In the assembly workshop, the flexible conveyance of AGV air spreader realizes the high-precision positioning and installation of vehicles, which greatly improves the assembly efficiency and increases the factory’s automobile production rate under the premise of quality assurance. In addition to China, in 2024, LEAPMOTOR Automotive established a joint venture with the Stellantis Group, “LEAPMOTOR International”, and built a plant in Mirafiori, Turin, Italy, from which LEAPMOTOR automobiles can be sold in Europe, the Middle East and the Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
